Shakespeare Appreciation – The Merchant of Venice

The Teachers Collective is thrilled to present the session that started it all and a man who pushed us to do more – Shakespeare.

Shakespeare can be daunting to read in the original and yet, the beauty of his work, the plot lines, the relevance of someone who lived and died in 1600s, one of the few who died on his birthday (trivia alert!), all this means his works are still read and taught in today’s times.

Why should a teen care about the Bard?  What is the relevance of this English in today’s times?  We explore it all with activities and music and tons of fun.  Do gift this opportunity to the teens in your life.  Not only will it be a good break before exams season, it will help them attack their texts with renewed vigour!
