Trauma Informed Classrooms For CENTA

A Masterclass on Trauma Informed Classrooms in partnership in CENTA will happen on January 23rd. It is important for every teacher (and every adult) to be informed about trauma, understand its impact of children/people and proactively plan systems, policies, processes and classrooms with this knowledge in mind.

Imagine a horse and jockey with the horse being your survival brain and the jockey being your thinking brain. Trauma causes the horse to bolt, unseating the jockey and racing into survival mode: unavailable for learning and emotional regulation.
