The Merchant of Venice

The Teachers Collective is happy to announce our 2-part workshop on The Merchant Of Venice.  Shakespeare’s classic comes to life: we seek to understand the context of the play and appreciate the Bard’s genius, while getting a better understanding of the characters and plot of the evergreen play.

The workshop is meant for children already studying the play at school.  It will be ideal for children who are in Grade 8+ and have started the play at school.  We won’t be teaching line by line, act by act but situating the relevance of this play in the child’s (and today’s context) and getting into depth with activities and characters.  Our objective is to have students enjoy the play and Shakespeare’s work from experiencing its relevance and wanting to know more about this play, the Bard and his other work.

Fees: Rs. 2,000 (for both sessions.  Please inquire for a sibling discount)
